Birthday Fun!

Sister Sue had her birthday a week ago. It is amazing to me how fast time flies. Seriously, it seems like yesterday that she joined our little family of three. I still remember how anxious I was to add a member to the family. It was hard for me to picture loving anyone as much as I loved my little B. It's amazing how our hearts just change and grow to only love more than we ever imagined.

This little girl is really a giant sized personality in a very tiny body. She is sweet, funny, sassy, and so stubborn. When she is at her best she is patting my cheeks and telling me how beautiful I am or how much she loves me. She truly melts my heart. When she is at her worst, she can throw the meanest tantrums. But we love her all the same just the way she is. Thank you Sis for being my very beautiful, very sweet little girl. I feel blessed everyday that you're mine.

Okay, as said in my last post we had a Carnival themed party. We invited all the cousins and a couple of friends from her daycare class. We started the party with the clown. She was a cute clown and didn't scare any of the kids. She made a balloon sculpture for everyone of the kids including U.J. Most kids pretty much got what they wanted but Sis got the big one because she was the birthday girl. It was fun to watch her twist and shape the balloons into various shapes to make Belle. It took her about 15 minutes.
The kids played outside while we cooked up a hotdog dinner. Afterwards we passed out tickets to the carnival games. The kids got to use their tickets to play the games to get their prizes. We rented a cotton candy machine and had lots of cotton candy and popcorn for treats. It was a lot of fun. We only had one complaint. One of the cousins asked where the rides were. Hmmm. We can't do it all I guess. Overall, it was a blast. Sis got lots of great presents and had a great time being the center of attention.
Thanks to everyone who always makes the effort to show their support. We sure have wonderful family and friends.
